Job Summary

You will review and enhance system architecture and software, collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvements, and ensure high-quality product releases through testing and documentation. Maintain and upgrade systems to meet operational and regulatory needs.

Responsibilities

Review current system architecture, coding methodologies, and language platforms to identify improvement opportunities

Propose architectural and functional system enhancements to optimize performance and usability

Collaborate with product owners, sales, and operations teams to gather requirements for system fixes, upgrades, and improvements

Produce detailed software specifications and review code to develop application versions aligned with project goals

Conduct controlled environment testing including functional, regression, and usability tests before product release

Prepare comprehensive user guides, installation instructions, release notes, and training manuals to support end-users and teams

Develop and maintain technical documentation to facilitate future software development and maintenance

Maintain software systems by fixing bugs, resolving incompatibilities, implementing new functionalities, upgrading releases, and ensuring regulatory compliance

Required competencies and certifications

Proficiency in programming languages C, C++, Java, and SQL as demonstrated through software development experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in software development roles

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Experience with casino systems or products

Proven track record of leading successful software development projects

Expertise in current computer hardware and software environments

Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

Ability to work collaboratively within teams to identify and solve problems

Attention to detail in software development and testing processes

Strong problem-solving skills to address technical challenges and improve system functionality
