岗位职责

The GUILD International College is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) Physical Education Teacher to join our multidisciplinary team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and inclusive physical education programmes that support students with diverse learning, behavioural, sensory and developmental needs. Working closely with therapists, educators and support staff, you will help students develop physical skills, confidence, teamwork and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver adapted physical education and sports programmes for students with diverse needs.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with therapists, teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student development.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain appropriate records.
  • Modify activities and teaching approaches to meet individual student needs.
  • Promote positive behaviour, social skills, and healthy lifestyles through sport and physical activity.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to individual education plans where required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sports Science, Special Needs Education or a related field.
  • Prior experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN) is compulsory.
  • Strong understanding of SEN, adaptive physical education and neuro affirming practices.
  • Dependable, responsible and committed to student success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Well-spoken and confident in working with students, families and professionals.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team of educators, therapists, and specialists.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
