Cisco Network Security Engineer

Location: KL,Malaysia

Experience: 5+ years

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco Firepower, ISE, AnyConnect, and IVPN solutions.
• Implement network security, firewall, IPS, access control, and secure remote-access solutions.
• Validate technology designs, software releases, and new Cisco solutions.
• Monitor network and VPN performance and resolve security infrastructure issues.
• Work with Cisco ASR, ISR, and other network devices.
• Support routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
• Provide technical support and knowledge sharing to internal teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Firepower and Cisco ISE.
• Experience with AnyConnect, IVPN, VPN technologies, and network security.
• Good understanding of routing, firewalls, IPS, and access-control concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred:

• CCNP/CCIE Security certification.
• Knowledge of Python, Ansible, cloud security, network automation, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
