The company draws on a 200-year Guthrie legacy rooted in innovation, dynamism, and visionary leadership. Guthrie Engineering has contributed to iconic projects and key national infrastructure across Singapore’s skyline, including Marina Bay Sands, Jewel Changi, the Thomson-East Coast MRT Line, The Star Vista, Sky Habitat, and Funan. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore for BIM Modeller, Electrical Engineer, and Quantity Surveyor positions. BIM Modellers will develop and maintain detailed 3D models, coordinate drawings with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure data integrity throughout the project lifecycle. Electrical Engineers will design and review electrical systems, prepare technical specifications, support installation and commissioning activities, and resolve technical issues on projects. Quantity Surveyors will prepare cost estimates, manage tender documentation, track project budgets, and support contract administration and variation claims. All roles collaborate closely with project managers, site teams, and clients to ensure project delivery meets safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong technical skills in BIM modelling tools (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD), with the ability to produce accurate and coordinated models and drawings.
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering design principles, relevant codes and standards, and practical experience in building services or infrastructure projects.
  • Competence in quantity surveying practices including cost estimation, measurement, procurement support, and contract administration.
  • Proficiency in project documentation, report writing, and the use of engineering or construction-related software (e.g., MS Office, project management tools).
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and tender documents, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with stakeholders on-site.
  • Relevant diploma or degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical), Quantity Surveying, or related disciplines; professional certifications are an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Singapore regulations, building codes, and safety requirements; prior experience on large commercial or infrastructure projects is beneficial.
