Job Description
Therapy Care Services
- Responsible for providing client care, therapy implementation, and client education for students/clients/residents belonging to varied age groups.
- Deliver therapy through individual (1:1) and group sessions using push-in and pull-out models based on client needs.
Assessment & Therapy Execution
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to evaluate functional performance in areas such as motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Develop individualised therapy goals based on assessment findings and functional needs.
Treatment Planning & Program Management
- Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with established goals.
- Manage therapy programs to ensure effective and consistent intervention delivery.
Documentation & Care Planning
- Prepare and document individualized goals and objectives within the Individual Education Plan (IEP) and/or Individual Care Plan (ICP).
- Maintain accurate progress reports for clients under assigned caseload.
- Participate in Case Management Team (CMT) meetings and IEP/ICP meetings.
Collaboration & Consultation
- Collaborate with teachers, coaches, and care staff to incorporate appropriate occupational therapy strategies into classroom, centre, home, or community environments.
Job Requirement
- Possess at least a Diploma in Occupational Therapy from an accredited polytechnic.
- Full or conditional Allied Health Professions Council (Singapore) registration.
- Candidate must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders such as Teachers, Psychologists and families of students.
- Practical experience volunteering or working to support persons with autism spectrum disorder/ intellectual disability is an asset.
- Have drive and passion to support Persons with Autism having a moderate to severe degree of impairment
