Our client is seeking a Total Rewards professional to lead compensation and benefits strategy in Kuala Lumpur.

Working with regional HR leaders, HR business partners and other specialist teams, you will shape reward programmes that support business priorities and help attract and retain talent.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver Southeast Asia total rewards plans within global and regional guidelines, adapting programmes to local market needs.
• Use salary surveys, market data and internal analysis to review the competitiveness of pay and benefits.
• Oversee compensation and benefits policies, with attention to governance, local compliance and consistency across markets.
• Lead annual salary reviews, bonus planning, job levelling, salary structures, offer recommendations, benefits renewals, recognition programmes and global mobility matters.
• Manage incentive plans from design and financial modelling through rollout, communication and regular effectiveness reviews. Partner with business leaders to refine plans as needs change.
• Advise leaders and HR colleagues on reward decisions, policies and practical solutions.
• Improve processes and support enhancements to Workday, ADP and local HR systems, including opportunities for automation.
• Lead regional projects and contribute to global Total Rewards initiatives.

What we’re looking for

• MUST: At least 6~7 years of similar experience,
• Experience designing and implementing compensation and benefits programmes across Southeast Asia.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capability; familiarity with HRIS platforms and reward data.
• Confidence working with senior stakeholders and balancing strategic planning with hands-on delivery.
