Company Description Pilgrim Partners Asia offers a platform that enables fund managers to work within the Singapore regulatory environment with a comprehensive service that extends from assistance in establishing the fund company, to providing administrative, compliance, middle office, and other support services needed in connection with the operation of the Fund. We have developed solutions and an ecosystem to help fund managers establish and operate a collective investment scheme (Fund) in their choice of onshore domicile (e.g. Singapore VCC), offshore domicile (e.g. Cayman SPC, GP/LP), as well as Managed Accounts.

Role Description The Finance Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore, responsible for supporting the financial operations of the firm and its fund platform.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Finance and Analytical Skills to support accurate reporting, analysis, and decision-making.
• Candidates should possess skills in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting to prepare, review, and interpret monthly, quarterly and annual financial information for internal and external stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Income Tax and Goods and Services Tax (GST) and relevant regulations in Singapore to manage tax computations and filings.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting principles, Excel and financial systems, and a high level of attention to detail.
• Candidates should be prepared to be the primary contact with external auditors.
• Candidates are expected to undertake risk-based capital management and prepare risk-based capital calculations every month.
• Candidates should be able to monitor financial, corporate regulatory, MAS-related or ACRA-related timelines of the company and ensure requisite returns are filed on a timely basis.
• Candidates should be able to manage bank account opening processes and dealing with banks.
• Candidates are expected to look into strengthening current internal control and process improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a finance / accounting role
• Professional accounting qualification and/or bachelor’s degree in accounting-related field of study
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, regulated environment
• Experience in fund administration would be an advantage
