Key Responsibilities ：

Broad Functions:

• Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing facilities-related projects, including building upgrades, infrastructure improvements, office renovations, utility installations, manufacturing facility expansions, cleanroom projects, HVAC systems, energy efficiency initiatives, and maintenance capital projects.
• Develop and implement facilities operational procedures and performance measures to ensure simplification and accuracy of work methods and reliability of facilities systems.
• Lead end-to-end facilities projects from concept development through commissioning and handover.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
• Monitor project progress and ensure milestones are achieved.
• Coordinate construction, renovation, expansion, and infrastructure improvement projects.
• Manage project documentation, drawings, specifications, and change requests.
• Prepare management reports on project status, expenditures, and variances.
• Oversee installation and upgrade of:
• HVAC systems, Electrical systems, Chilled water systems, Compressed air systems, Fire protection systems, Building Management Systems (BMS), Process utilities and cleanroom infrastructure.

Regular

• Ensure the team is well trained on all facilities policies and procedures. Working closely with the local operation team, devising new and innovative methods of learning built around skill development, leadership and succession planning.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, within budget, on schedule, and in compliance with applicable regulations, company standards, and customer requirements
• Develops planning documents for initiation of projects to gain approval at University and Regents level
• Prepares RFQ for all projects
• Monitors and reports on all phases of planning and construction
• Coordinates all parties (consultants, architects, contractors) involved in the planning, design, and construction process.
• Monitors construction contract close-out and maintains documentation files.

Irregular

• Implementing a comprehensive energy management program.
• Develop initiatives and strategies that lead to cost savings that contribute to global initiatives.

Educational Requirements ：

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Building Services or equivalent experience and education.
• Chargeman certificate and other technical competencies will be added an advantage
• Technical/Professional Training / Qualification and Skills：

Experience Required：

• Typically requires a minimum of 4-5 years in manufacturing experience and skill in plant facilities engineering.
