Job Purpose

To provide safe, reliable and timely transportation services for company personnel, documents, materials and other items as required. The Driver cum Dispatch is responsible for ensuring the company vehicle is always maintained in good, clean and safe condition, as well as supporting the company’s daily dispatch and administrative activities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Company Driving & Transportation

· Provide safe, reliable and punctual transportation for management, staff, visitors and other authorised personnel as assigned.

· Transport employees to and from meetings, site visits, airports, government offices, accommodation and other locations as required.

· Be familiar with routes to frequently visited locations, offices, sites, airports, government agencies and other relevant destinations.

· Plan suitable and efficient routes and allow sufficient travel time based on traffic and scheduled appointments.

· Use navigation applications such as Google Maps or Waze when necessary to identify the best available route.

· Strictly comply with all traffic laws, road safety regulations and company driving procedures at all times.

· Drive responsibly and ensure the safety and comfort of passengers.

· Park the company vehicle only at the assigned or authorised car park and ensure the vehicle is properly secured.

· Maintain professionalism, confidentiality and good conduct when dealing with management, staff, clients and external parties.

2. Vehicle Maintenance & Condition

· Ensure the assigned company vehicle is kept in good, clean, safe and roadworthy condition at all times.

· Conduct regular checks on tyres, fuel, engine oil, brakes, lights, battery, air-conditioning and other essential vehicle components.

· Ensure the vehicle is clean and presentable, both inside and outside.

· Immediately report any vehicle defects, unusual conditions, accidents, damage or maintenance requirements to the Supervisor.

· Arrange or coordinate vehicle servicing, repairs, inspection, road tax and insurance matters when instructed.

· Ensure scheduled vehicle servicing and maintenance are completed on time.

· Maintain proper records of vehicle servicing, repairs, fuel usage, mileage and other relevant information.

· Ensure the vehicle is properly parked, locked and secured when not in use.

3. Dispatch & Delivery

· Deliver and collect company documents, letters, parcels, equipment, materials and other items as assigned.

· Perform dispatch duties to government offices, banks, suppliers, customers, courier companies and other external parties.

· Assist with submission and collection of documents related to company licences, permits, registrations and other administrative matters.

· Ensure documents and items are delivered to the correct recipient and obtain acknowledgement or proof of delivery where required.

· Handle company documents and items carefully and maintain confidentiality.

5. Ad-Hoc Duties

· Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor or Management from time to time.

· Support urgent transportation or dispatch requirements when required.

· Assist other departments with reasonable tasks as directed by the Supervisor.

Qualifications & Requirements

· Minimum SPM / equivalent qualification.

· Valid Malaysian Driving Licence (Class B2 & D).

· Clean and safe driving record.

· Preferably 2–3 years of experience as a company driver, personal driver, dispatch driver or similar role.

· Familiar with local routes, major roads, company locations and frequently visited destinations.

· Good knowledge of using Google Maps/Waze.

· Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety checks.

· Reliable, punctual, responsible and disciplined.

· Able to work independently and follow instructions.

· Willing to work outside normal working hours or travel when required.

· Able to maintain confidentiality when handling management, employee and company information.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
