Job Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily transportation and delivery arrangements for construction projects.
• Arrange lorries, trucks, drivers, and delivery schedules according to project and site requirements.
• Coordinate the delivery of construction materials, equipment, tools, and other project-related items to site.
• Liaise closely with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, suppliers, transporters, drivers, and subcontractors on delivery arrangements.
• Monitor delivery schedules and ensure materials arrive at the correct location and within the required timeline.
• Coordinate site access, unloading arrangements, delivery timing, and designated loading/unloading areas.
• Follow up on delayed deliveries and resolve transportation or logistics issues promptly.
• Prepare and maintain delivery records, Delivery Orders (DO), transportation documents, and other related documentation.
• Track transportation movements and update the project/site team on delivery status.
• Assist in coordinating the movement of materials between warehouse, suppliers, project sites, and other locations.
• Ensure transportation and logistics arrangements comply with site safety requirements and company procedures.
• Monitor transportation costs and assist in arranging cost-effective logistics solutions.
• Coordinate urgent or last-minute delivery requirements when required.
• Perform any other logistics or project coordination duties assigned by the superior.

Job Requirements

• Minimum SPM, Certificate, Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• At least 1–2 years of working experience in logistics, transportation, construction, project coordination or a related field is preferred.
• Experience handling logistics for construction sites will be an added advantage.
• Able to coordinate multiple delivery schedules and transportation arrangements effectively.
• Good communication and coordination skills when dealing with drivers, suppliers, subcontractors and site personnel.
• Able to work independently and respond quickly to changes in site or delivery schedules.
• Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and WhatsApp communication.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Mandarin will be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with Klang Valley construction sites and routes will be an advantage.
• Possess own transportation where required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
