- Staff Supervision:Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff, including room attendants and support personnel.
Schedule shifts and assign tasks to ensure efficient coverage.
- Quality Control:Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to maintain high cleanliness standards.
Address any issues identified during inspections and ensure prompt resolution.
- Training and Development:Train new housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations.
Provide ongoing training to enhance the skills and performance of the team.
- Inventory Management:Manage and monitor the inventory of cleaning supplies and linens.
Coordinate with the Housekeeping Manager to reorder supplies as necessary.
- Communication:Communicate effectively with the Housekeeping Manager, front desk, and other hotel departments to coordinate activities.
Address guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Performance Evaluation:Monitor the performance of housekeeping staff and provide regular feedback.
Assist in performance evaluations and contribute to the development of improvement plans.
- Guest Satisfaction:Ensure guest rooms and public areas meet established cleanliness standards to enhance guest satisfaction.
Collaborate with the front desk to address any special guest requests or concerns.
- Safety and Compliance:Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with hotel policies and industry regulations.
Conduct regular safety training for housekeeping staff.
- Problem Resolution:Address and resolve any issues or conflicts among housekeeping staff.
Escalate complex issues to higher management when necessary.
- Emergency Response:Implement emergency response plans for unexpected situations, such as spills or accidents.
Ensure the housekeeping team is trained on emergency procedures.
