Role Description This is a full-time Pharmacist role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing a combination of on-site and work-from-home responsibilities. The Pharmacist will dispense medications accurately, verify prescriptions, and provide counseling on proper use, dosage, side effects, and drug interactions. Daily activities include reviewing patient medication histories, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and safety standards. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, managing inventory, monitoring medication storage conditions, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. The Pharmacist will contribute to patient education programs and support the implementation of clinical guidelines and best practices.

Qualifications

• Relevant professional pharmacy qualification (e.g., Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy) and current registration or eligibility for registration with the appropriate pharmacy board or council.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, and drug interactions, with the ability to apply clinical judgment in patient care decisions.
• Demonstrated competency in prescription verification, medication dispensing, and patient counseling, with a focus on accuracy and safety.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations, pharmacy practice standards, and documentation requirements, including confidentiality and data protection.
• Proficiency in using pharmacy information systems, electronic health records, and basic office software to support efficient workflow.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
