We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our Global Data Services Team and contribute to the continued development of Asendia’s data and AI capabilities.

In this hands-on role, you will design, build and maintain scalable data solutions that turn data from multiple sources into trusted, accessible and actionable insights. Working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams, you will support initiatives across areas such as Finance, Operations, automation, forecasting and performance management.

Tasks

• Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
• Develop and optimize data models, data warehouses and analytical solutions
• Integrate data from multiple internal and external sources and ensure high standards of data quality, governance and reliability
• Build Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions that enable effective business decision-making
• Use Python and SQL for data processing, automation and integration
• Support AI/ML, forecasting and predictive analytics use cases
• Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements and challenges into practical data solutions
• Continuously improve the performance, scalability and reliability of our data platform

Profile

• Strong experience with SQL, Python, ETL/ELT and data modelling
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and data warehousing/lakehouse solutions
• Good knowledge of Power BI or comparable BI tools
• Understanding of modern data architectures and AI/ML fundamentals
• Experience working with business requirements and stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD
• An advantage: Experience with AWS/Redshift, Microsoft Fabric, Generative AI/LLMs, forecasting, data governance, process automation or Finance/logistics/e-commerce.
