SAP FICO with project implementation experience

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior SAP FICO Consultant with 10+ years of experience who has strong hands-on experience in delivering SAP FICO projects.

The candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation and delivery of SAP FICO solutions, including requirement gathering, business process analysis, SAP configuration, testing, integration, data migration and go-live activities.

This is a hands-on consulting role. The successful candidate should have proven experience personally executing SAP FICO project activities rather than focusing primarily on project or people management.

Key Responsibilities

- Participate in and deliver end-to-end SAP FICO implementation projects.
- Gather and analyse business requirements from Finance and Accounting stakeholders.
- Conduct business process workshops and provide SAP FICO solutions based on business requirements.
- Perform hands-on SAP FICO configuration and solution design.
- Configure and support key SAP FI/CO areas, including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA)
- Bank Accounting
- Cost Centre Accounting
- Profit Centre Accounting
- Internal Orders
- Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
- Prepare functional specifications for enhancements, reports, interfaces and integrations.
- Work closely with ABAP and technical teams to deliver required developments.
- Support integration between FICO and other SAP modules, particularly MM, SD, PP and HCM.
- Perform hands-on testing, including unit testing, SIT, UAT and regression testing.
- Identify, analyse and resolve functional issues and defects during the project.
- Support data migration, data validation and reconciliation activities.
- Prepare and execute cutover activities and support go-live and hypercare.
- Prepare functional and project documentation, including business process documents, configuration documents and test scripts.
- Work directly with business users and stakeholders to ensure successful adoption of the SAP solution.
- Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement of SAP FICO processes.
- Provide functional guidance to other consultants where required while remaining hands-on in project delivery.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
- 10+ years of SAP FICO experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP FI and CO.
- Proven track record of delivering SAP FICO implementation / rollout / migration / transformation projects.
- Strong hands-on SAP configuration experience.
- Good understanding of end-to-end Finance and Accounting processes.
- Experience with requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, data migration and go-live.
- Strong experience in SAP integration with other functional modules.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to work independently and take ownership of FICO project deliverables.

Preferred

- Strong SAP S/4HANA Finance experience.
- Experience in at least one full end-to-end SAP FICO implementation project.
- Experience in SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration/transformation is an advantage.
- SAP FICO / S/4HANA certification is an advantage.
- Consulting background with multiple SAP implementation projects is preferred.

Pay: RM15,000.00 - RM17,000.00 per month
