About the role

The Training & Development Executive is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, implementation and administration of employee training and development programmes across the Company. The role works closely with the Training & Development Team Lead, outlet management, Department Heads and employees to ensure training programmes are effectively carried out, properly documented and aligned with operational and business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating and implementing training programmes for employees across Head Office and retail outlets
• Coordinate training schedules, venues, training materials, attendance and other logistical arrangements
• Liaise with internal trainers, external training providers and relevant departments on training arrangements
• Support the implementation of onboarding, orientation, operational, supervisory, soft skills and other employee development programmes
• Conduct or facilitate training sessions where required and within the scope of assigned programmes
• Assist in gathering and consolidating training needs from Department Heads, outlet management and performance reviews
• Maintain accurate and updated training records, attendance, evaluation forms, assessment results and employee training history
• Collect and consolidate participant feedback following training programmes and assist in evaluating training effectiveness
• Travel to NSK Grocer outlets and other Company locations to coordinate, support or conduct training activities when required
• Support employee engagement, learning and development initiatives organized by the Human Resources Department

About you

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Education, Training & Development or a related field
• Preferably 1–3 years of relevant experience in Training & Development, Learning & Development, Human Resources or a related function
• Experience in the retail, supermarket, FMCG or other operational/service environment will be an added advantage
• Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Good coordination, administrative and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Word
• Able to prepare training materials and deliver or facilitate training sessions when required
• Proactive, adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment
• Possess a valid driving license and own transport, and be willing to travel by car to different outlets/locations as required
• Willing and able to work on weekends, public holidays or outside normal working hours when required for scheduled training, new outlet openings or operational needs

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
