Job Description & Requirements

Job Summary

Responsible central coordinator for a theatrical or live production, ensuring seamless execution from the first rehearsal to the final curtain call.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage detailed rehearsal schedules to optimize preparation time and resource allocation

Record and organize director’s notes to ensure clear communication of creative vision to all production members

Coordinate setup of rehearsal spaces to meet production requirements and support efficient workflow

Serve as the primary communication link between the director, actors, designers, and technical and stage crews to align all teams

Organize and oversee technical logistics, including the setup ("get in") and teardown ("get out") of sets and equipment, as well as management of props and costumes

Direct performance execution from a backstage control position by calling all technical cues and maintaining adherence to the show schedule

Identify and resolve issues promptly during rehearsals and live performances to minimize disruptions and maintain production quality

Motivate and lead team members to foster collaboration and maintain high performance under pressure

Prioritize and organize both personal and team tasks to ensure efficient workflow and meet deadlines

Apply initiative and flexibility to adapt quickly to changing production needs and unexpected challenges
