About the role

You'll join an integrated delivery team working on a Singapore public sector analytics platform for transport operations. The platform brings together fleet, device and operational data, and it is growing into predictive maintenance and AI‑enabled insights. You'll design, build and maintain the web applications and backend services behind it, working alongside the client's in‑house engineers.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain responsive web applications and user interfaces
• Develop backend services, APIs and microservices for business functions and data processing
• Turn business requirements into technical solutions and features
• Build reusable, maintainable and scalable components
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs, and integrate with internal and external systems
• Apply frontend best practice: responsive design, accessibility, performance and cross‑browser compatibility
• Follow secure coding practices in line with the client's security requirements
• Carry out code reviews, unit testing and integration testing
• Work with UI/UX designers and business users to improve usability
• Take part in Agile ceremonies, deployments and production support

What you'll bring

• Experience building enterprise‑grade web applications end to end
• Strong frontend skills in React, Angular, Vue or similar, plus HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and TypeScript
• Strong backend skills in Node.js, Python or Java Spring Boot
• Frontend engineering depth: component‑based architecture, state management, accessibility and performance tuning
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices
• Cloud‑native development and deployment on AWS, including Docker and Kubernetes
• Relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or SQL Server
• GitLab, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• A good understanding of secure coding and application security
• Clear communication and good judgement with stakeholders

Good to have

• Experience on Singapore public sector projects
• Experience with data‑heavy dashboards or analytics interfaces

• Singapore based, working onsite at the client's office
• Must be based in Singapore with the right to work here
• Must be available to start in October 2026
