What Will You Be Doing?

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Cleaning Operations Manager to lead our cleaning operations and ensure consistent service quality across client sites.

You will oversee the operations team, manage manpower deployment, maintain strong client relationships and drive improvements in service standards, productivity and operational efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage cleaning supervisors, operations executives, floaters and cleaners.

• Plan manpower deployment and ensure adequate coverage across all client sites.

• Conduct site inspections and audits to maintain cleaning and service standards.

• Manage service commencement, site mobilisation and operational transitions.

• Attend client meetings and resolve service enquiries, complaints and escalations promptly.

• Monitor staff attendance, performance, discipline and training requirements.

• Develop work schedules, cleaning checklists and operational procedures.

• Ensure that cleaning activities comply with workplace safety, regulatory and company requirements.

• Monitor operational costs, equipment, cleaning supplies and inventory.

• Work closely with the Sales and HR teams on new contracts, manpower requirements and employee matters.

• Investigate and report operational incidents, service failures and workplace injuries.

• Recommend improvements to service quality, productivity and client satisfaction.

• Provide operational support during manpower shortages or urgent situations.

• Perform other operational duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or higher qualification in Operations Management, Facilities Management, Business Administration or a related field.

• At least 3 years of relevant operations experience, preferably within the cleaning, facilities management or environmental services industry.

• Prior experience leading supervisors and frontline employees.

• Strong manpower planning, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Good customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.

• Able to manage multiple sites and respond effectively to operational issues.

• Independent, responsible and willing to take ownership.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and comfortable using operational systems.

• Able to work collaboratively across departments.
