Job Description:

You are responsible for the overall design, development, and maintenance of a robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure that empowers the operation and growth of the digital bank. You will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders as the subject matter expert for overseeing and executing cloud computing services across the digital bank

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively contribute towards all DevOps best practices across the Engineering function
• Consult, design, and implement a highly available, scalable, and secure cloud architecture through close collaboration with business and technical stakeholders
• Continuously contribute towards the knowledge documentation of cloud architecture and services within the digital bank
• Continuously evaluate the technical risks of the cloud architecture and map out mitigation strategies in accordance with the digital bank’s security standards
• Design, create, and maintain tools for the automation of cloud infrastructure workflow such as system provisioning, platform upgrades, and server decommissioning
• Design, create, and maintain tools for the automation of development workflow from application deployment, testing, to system monitoring and alerting
• Collaborate closely with IT security in monitoring the cybersecurity health of the digital bank
• Evaluate cloud applications, hardware, and software at regular intervals according to the functional and security requirements of the digital bank
• Actively participate in troubleshooting incidents, identifying root cause, fixing, and implementing preventive measures

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent applicable experience
• At least 2+ years experience for cloud DevOps engineer
• At least 4+ years of experience for senior cloud DevOps engineer
• Proven experience with modern cloud service provider such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Working experience with open-source technology such as Linux and Jenkins
• Working experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Good experience with IaC using Terraform and familiarity with CaC using Ansible/Puppet/Chef
• Working knowledge of modern CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, Bitbucket, Github Actions, Gitlab CI
• Good familiarity with cloud security concepts and technologies (authentication, authorization, encryption, digital signature), SSL, web service proxies, firewalls, multi-protocol gateways and VPN
• Understand and implement secure coding best practices; familiarity with OWASP Top 10
• Experience with Agile methodology or similar lean startup approach to building software
• Familiarity with network security, encryption technology, and troubleshooting network issues
• Familiarity with cloud monitoring tooling such as NewRelic, Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good analytical and decision-making skills
• Proficient in analytical, deductive and inductive reasoning
• An entrepreneurial attitude with ability to work in a fast paced, flexible environment on multiple concurrent projects
