Support Engineer – ERP Application Support

Employment Type: Contract

Job Overview

We are looking for a Support Engineer – ERP Application Support to provide functional and business application support for enterprise systems. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in application support, with good understanding of business processes and the ability to work closely with users and business stakeholders to resolve application-related issues.

Experience in finance or property-related business processes will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional/business application support to users and business stakeholders.
• Analyse and troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and coordinate with relevant technical teams where required.
• Understand business requirements and translate them into appropriate application support solutions.
• Support business processes related to areas such as finance, property sales, development, rental, residential, or mall operations.
• Perform issue investigation, incident management, problem resolution, and follow-up with users.
• Work with internal teams, vendors, and application teams to resolve system-related issues.
• Prepare and maintain application support documentation, user guides, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Assist with application testing, enhancements, and implementation of system changes where required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in application support, ERP support, or business application support.
• Strong understanding of business/functional application support rather than purely technical infrastructure support.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand business requirements and application workflows.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with both technical teams and business users.
• Finance/business process knowledge is an added advantage.
• Experience in the property industry (Property Sales/Development, Rental, Residential, Mall operations, etc.) is an added advantage.
• IFCA experience is not mandatory; candidates with other ERP or business application support experience are welcome.

Nice to Have

• Experience with IFCA or other ERP/business applications.
• Exposure to property management or property-related business processes.
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, or related business processes.
• Exposure to UiPath, Talend, ABBYY FlexiCapture, or similar business automation/document processing tools.

Preferred Profile

Candidates with a background in functional application support, ERP support, or business systems support are preferred. Experience should demonstrate regular interaction with business users and involvement in understanding and resolving application/process-related issues.
