6G Network Systems Researcher
About the Role
We are looking for a 5G/6G Network Systems Researcher to join our research team and develop next-generation networking technologies for Physical AI and Embodied Intelligence.
The role focuses on building intelligent, deterministic, and action-aware network systems that enable seamless connectivity between perception, AI reasoning, and robotic actuation. You will conduct research across network architecture, protocols, resource management, and AI-native networking, with opportunities to contribute to future 5G/6G technologies, publications, patents, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on 5G/6G network systems for Physical AI and embodied intelligence applications.
- Design innovative network architectures, protocols, and algorithms for deterministic, reliable, and low-latency communications.
- Develop techniques for network resource management, scheduling, routing, traffic engineering, and orchestration with QoA/QoS awareness.
- Design and evaluate intelligent network control frameworks using technologies such as SDN, TSN, O-RAN, and edge computing.
- Develop software prototypes, simulations, emulation environments, and proof-of-concept systems.
- Validate research through analytical modelling, simulation, experimentation, and real-world prototyping.
- Publish research results in leading international conferences and journals and contribute to patent development.
- Contribute to relevant international standardization activities, including 3GPP, IEEE, IETF, and O-RAN Alliance.
- Collaborate with researchers, engineers, universities, industry partners, and multidisciplinary teams.
Key Requirements
- PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Strong research background in communication networks, network systems, distributed systems, or related areas.
- Solid understanding of network architecture, protocols, algorithms, and system design.
- Demonstrated experience in algorithm development, software engineering, network prototyping, or systems research.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate research concepts into working prototypes.
- Track record of publications in reputable international conferences and/or journals.
- Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, Go, or similar languages.

Domain Expertise

- Ultra-low-latency and deterministic communications
- Experience contributing to standards or industry initiatives such as 3GPP, IEEE, IETF, or O-RAN Alliance
