This is a hands-on commercial position requiring strong situational awareness, practical judgement and the confidence to communicate with suppliers, customers, banks, shipping companies and internal stakeholders.
We are looking for someone who is not only academically capable, but also practical, adaptable and commercially alert. The candidate must be able to understand people and situations, identify what is important, ask intelligent questions and respond appropriately without requiring detailed instructions at every stage.

- Follow up actively with counterparties and maintain momentum until each opportunity reaches a clear outcome.

- Review commercial terms, product specifications, contracts, invoices, letters of credit and shipping documents for accuracy and consistency.
- Track important milestones, including contract execution, payment, vessel nomination, loading, documentation, arrival, discharge and final settlement.
- Anticipate potential delays, discrepancies or execution risks and raise them early, together with practical proposed solutions.

- Support sanctions screening, compliance checks and internal approval processes.
- Escalate material commercial, credit, documentation or counterparty risks promptly.
- Protect the company’s commercial interests and confidential information at all times.
Relationship and Stakeholder Management
- Build professional and constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders from different countries, cultures and seniority levels.
