Job Title: Project Manager

Location: KL, Kuala Lumpur

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to own the end-to-end execution of technology and business projects, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines, scope and quality expectations.

The Project Manager will act as the central point of coordination between business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors and project resources, driving execution and proactively managing risks, issues, dependencies and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end project delivery from initiation through completion.
• Define project scope, objectives, milestones, deliverables and timelines.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate business, technology, vendor and project teams.
• Track project progress against agreed milestones and deliverables.
• Identify and proactively manage project risks, issues, dependencies and constraints.
• Establish clear ownership and accountability across project activities.
• Conduct regular project status meetings and provide structured status reporting.
• Manage project RAID logs, action items and decision registers.
• Coordinate requirement, development, testing, UAT and deployment activities.
• Ensure dependencies between business and technology teams are actively managed.
• Monitor project scope and manage changes through appropriate governance processes.
• Escalate critical risks and blockers to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Ensure project documentation and governance requirements are maintained.
• Coordinate with vendors and third-party partners where applicable.
• Ensure projects are delivered according to agreed quality, timeline and scope expectations.
• Support senior management with project reporting and delivery updates.
• Drive closure of outstanding actions and ensure successful project completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, IT, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 6–10 years of experience in project management, preferably in banking, financial services or enterprise technology.
• Proven experience managing medium to large-scale technology or transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and software delivery methodologies.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong planning, coordination and execution capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Strong risk, issue and dependency management experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Jira, Confluence or equivalent tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced enterprise environment. Preferred Certifications

• Agile / Scrum certification
