The Procurement Manager – APAC will act as the regional procurement lead, building a competitive, resilient and high-performing supply base to support project delivery and growth across APAC. The role owns strategic sourcing, category management, supplier performance, commercial optimisation, procurement governance, working-capital improvement and supply-chain risk across structured cabling, ICT infrastructure and data centre environments.
Working closely with Group Procurement and regional Operations, Project Management, Commercial, Sales and Finance teams, the role will ensure early procurement engagement, measurable value delivery and reliable supply for project-critical and long-lead materials. The role will manage and develop the Senior Buyer and provide senior commercial leadership to regional stakeholders and suppliers.
What you’ll be doing as our Procurement Manager
- Lead and continuously develop the APAC procurement strategy in alignment with Group Procurement, regional growth priorities and the project pipeline.
- Manage, coach and develop the Senior Buyer and future regional procurement resources, with clear objectives, capability plans and succession coverage.
- Provide commercial oversight of significant sourcing, contracting and supplier decisions, acting as the senior procurement escalation point across APAC.
- Build country and project procurement plans that translate forecast demand into sourcing, contracting, inventory and risk-mitigation actions.

What we’re looking for in our *job title*:
- Progressive procurement experience, including 3–5 years leading regional procurement activity, teams or major categories.
- Significant experience in structured cabling, ICT infrastructure, telecommunications, data centres, construction, mission-critical facilities or a comparable project-led environment.
- Demonstrated success in strategic sourcing, complex negotiation, regional framework agreements, supplier performance and measurable value delivery.
- Experience managing a substantial regional procurement portfolio, ideally in the USD 20m–50m range or above, depending on business scale and addressable spend.
- Practical knowledge of copper and fibre cabling, connectivity, containment, racks, cabinets, power distribution, infrastructure components, subcontract services and associated logistics.
- Experience supporting bids, mobilisation and live project delivery across multiple APAC markets; exposure to Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong, Japan and Thailand is advantageous.
- Strong commercial and financial understanding, including project margin, total cost of ownership, cash flow, working capital and benefit validation.
- Experience with ERP and procurement systems, spend analytics and advanced Microsoft Excel; dashboarding capability is desirable.
- CIPS or an equivalent procurement or supply-chain qualification is desirable.
