• Assist engineers in the setup and installation of equipment.
• Support engineers in the execution of process and equipment improvement plans.
• Assist with spare parts management and inventory control.
• Troubleshoot, investigate, and implement preventive actions to resolve technical issues in the production process.
• Maintain machine performance to meet KPIs, including product yield, productivity, machine downtime, quality, and cost targets.
• Minimize machine downtime and perform immediate repairs in the event of equipment malfunction.
• Carry out Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities in accordance with the established schedule, ensuring all equipment operations and processes comply with PM procedures.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as outlined in company policies and the Employee Handbook.
• Comply with the 5S Management System at all times.
• Provide timely feedback to engineers and the Department Manager to ensure smooth transition from prototype to full production ramp-up.
• Prepare and update daily reports for review by engineers and the Department Manager.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret production data to monitor processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by engineers and the Department Manager from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of working experience in engineering or manufacturing (preferably in the semiconductor or optical industry).
• Willing to work overtime (OT) when required by the engineer or Department Manager.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members, report issues effectively, and provide technical support.
• Knowledge of Statistical Methods, FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), and Control Plans will be an added advantage.
• Experience in assembling and/or testing transceivers will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required. Knowledge of Mandarin will be an added advantage.
• Equipment maintenance, equipment qualification, hands-on troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
