Job Responsibilities

Carry out installation, modification, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.

Perform cable pulling, cable laying, cable termination, and cable routing from Distribution Boards (DB) to equipment and electrical panels.

Install and fabricate cable trays, trunking, conduits, cable ladders, and cable support systems.

Install, replace, and connect electrical components such as switches, sockets, isolators, circuit breakers, lighting fixtures, and control panels.

Read and interpret single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, layout drawings, and wiring diagrams.

Perform testing and commissioning of electrical installations to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.

Troubleshoot electrical faults and carry out rectification works efficiently.

Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.

Ensure all installations comply with workplace safety regulations and electrical codes of practice.

Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, contractors, and clients to complete assigned tasks within project timelines.

Maintain proper housekeeping at work sites and ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition.

Prepare daily work reports and complete job documentation as required.

Perform ad hoc electrical works and any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in electrical installation, maintenance, or construction.

Hands-on experience in cable pulling, cable termination, DB installation, trunking, conduit, and cable tray installation.
