The ACMV Project Engineer supports the engineering, technical coordination, and execution of ACMV projects across various project stages, including construction, post-TOP defects rectification, testing and commissioning, outstanding works, and project close-out.
Roles & Responsibilities
Support the planning, coordination, execution, and completion of ACMV projects
Perform ACMV calculations, including heat load, pump and fan sizing, airflow, chilled water systems, chiller configuration, and duct sizing
Review technical drawings, specifications, shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions
Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities
Supervise ACMV installation, testing and commissioning, defects rectification, and outstanding works
Monitor project progress, costs, schedules, and timely closure of defects
Resolve technical and site coordination issues
Assist with progress claims, variation orders, project reports, as-built drawings, and handover documentation
Ensure works comply with project specifications, quality standards, WSH requirements, and safe work practices
Perform other duties as assigned by Management
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
Minimum 3 years of relevant ACMV project experience in the construction industry
Experience in ACMV project execution, site coordination, and/or defects rectification
Able to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements
Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
Able to manage project timelines, costs, and site priorities effectively
Able to work independently in a fast-paced project environment
