Hiring: Performance Test Engineer (Banking) | KL Onsite | 6+6 Months Contract

Location: Kuala Lumpur (Onsite)

Employment: 6+6 Months Contract

We are looking for a Performance Test Engineer with strong banking domain experience to join our client's project in KL.

What You Bring:

5–6 years as a Performance Test Engineer

5+ years with HP LoadRunner and JMeter

8–10 years in Banking Industry – Cards, Payments, Loans, Core Banking

Experience with complex architectures – 10–15 applications, mainframe, AS400

Strong SDLC and QA methodology understanding

Script framework definition and finalization

Performance environment preparation and test data setup

Monitoring counters and APM tools experience

Strong stakeholder communication and reporting skills

What You'll Do:

Work with stakeholders to understand NFRs, business flows, and internal architecture

Create performance test scripts using LoadRunner, JMeter, or Web Load

Define and finalize script frameworks

Prepare performance test environments and test data setup

Deploy monitoring counters or APM tools and run load simulations

Prepare high-level test analysis reports immediately after execution

Create detailed performance reports and present to stakeholders

Interact with client POCs to resolve issues and identify business-critical scenarios
