Job Overview
To perform microbiological testing on products, environment, and facilities.

Requirement
1. Degree in industrial biotechnology, microbiology, biomedical, biochemical or other relevant fields.

2. Have knowledge in microbiology.

3. Able to work independently and as a group.

4. Strong critical thinking and communication skills.

5. Required languages: English and Bahasa Malaysia.

6. Minimum 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Conduct microbiological testing according to established SOP on timely manner.

2. Perform Preventive maintenance for laboratory equipment, and coordinate with QA department for external calibration.

3. Perform maintenance and related testing for Purified Water System.

4. Perform Environmental Control Testing in production area and ensure cleanliness of production area to comply within specifications.

5. Ensures all notebooks/logbooks/datasheets are completed and reviewed in a timely manner.

6. Ensures laboratory investigations and Out of Specification results are documented and reported to Senior

Microbiologist.

7. Support Internal/External Audits.

8. Maintain safety awareness in the laboratory.

9. Assist the senior microbiologist on cross functional project teams as required.

10. Perform microbiological method validations.

11. Assists in the implementation of new tests, and improvements to existing tests.

12. Documentation control – co-ordinates and updates documentation within the laboratory to ensure all documents are controlled in line with requirements

13. Assist in writing and updating Procedures, Work Instruction.

14. Produce monthly trends for microbiological tests.

15. Perform and assist with additional duties as may be directed by Senior Microbiologist.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,300.00 per month
