Technician (Sheet Metal Fabrication)

Key Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and maintain Trumpf laser cutting, punching, and bending (press brake) machines to produce ducting as per engineering drawings and specifications.

Machine Operation: Run CNC press brakes, punch presses, and cutting lasers.

Technical Knowledge: Understanding of metal types (aluminium, stainless steel) and spring-back behaviour.

• Handle raw materials and finished components safely, ensuring proper storage and material traceability. Program and adjust machine parameters (nesting, cutting speed, punching tools, bend sequences/angles) for optimal output and material utilization.

• Follow all workplace health and safety (EHS) protocols, including proper use of PPE and safe machine operating procedures.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–5 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication.
• Hands-on experience operating Trumpf CNC laser cutting, punching, and press brake (bending) machines .
• Ability to read engineering drawings and understand sheet metal fabrication processes.
• Knowledge of sheet metal materials, tooling, and quality inspection tools.

We currently own 200,000 sq. ft of land with 2 double stories heavy production facilities at our Senoko premise. Moreover, we have recently invested in a state-of-the-art laser cutting machine from Germany that costs more than 1 million dollars, which is able to conduct precise lasing even on a diameter of 20 cents coin.
