Role Summary

Dashmesh Singapore Pte Ltd is a leading south Asian food distribution company, specialising in Indian & Pakistani food products. We are seeking a results-driven and customer-focused Sales personnel to join our sales team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in achieving sales targets, building customer relationships, and promoting our products.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• To market and sell South Asian food products to local and regional customers
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of Dashmesh products and effectively communicate benefits and competitive advantages to potential customers.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation.
• Develop, execute, and monitor sales strategies with our existing and new customers to achieve sales targets and profitability.
• Identify and develop new leads and business opportunities.
• Stay informed about industry trends and competitor products.

Job Requirements:

• Possess at least a GCE ‘O’ Level Certificate or equivalent.
• Possess a class 2B/3 driving license.
• Be fluent in English.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Goal-oriented with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed targets.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and maintain organized records.
• Strong team spirit and willing to share knowledge with the team members.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and other related services.
• Strong team player who can work independently with minimal supervision.
• Time management and the ability to handle multiple tasks or deadlines.

Work Schedule
Monday to Friday:

• 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Dashmesh was incorporated as a sole proprietary trading company in 1985 and re-incorporated as Dashmesh Singapore Private Limited in 2004.

Since inception, Dashmesh has enjoyed record sales turnover and revenue almost every year.
