We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Network Security Engineer with a strong

foundation in network security principles and practices. The ideal candidate will

possess a deep understanding of Cisco networking technologies, particularly with a

Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification. This role involves designing,

implementing, and managing security measures to protect our network

infrastructure from potential threats and vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities:

 Design, implement, and maintain network security solutions to safeguard the

organization data and infrastructure.

 Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and respond to security incidents in a

timely manner.

 Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing to identify and

mitigate risks.

 Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with security policies and best

practices.

 Provide technical support and guidance on network security issues to internal teams.

 Stay updated on the latest security trends, threats, and technology solutions.

 Document security policies, procedures, and incident reports for compliance and

auditing purposes.

 Participate in security training and awareness programs for employees.

Qualifications:

 Strong knowledge of Cisco networking technologies and protocols. Valid Cisco

Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is a deal breaker.

 Experience with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other security technologies.

 Proficient in network monitoring and analysis tools. Solid understanding of network

security frameworks and best practices.

 Preferred Skills: Experience with security compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001,

NIST). Knowledge of cloud security principles and practices.

 Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks.

 Experience with incident response and forensic analysis. Certifications such as Cisco

Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Certified Information Systems Security

Professional (CISSP) are a plus.

 Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a

related field.

 5 7 years of experience in network security engineering or a related role.

 Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment.

Pay: RM12,000.00 - RM13,000.00 per month
