Job Description: Automation Test Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Automation Test Specialist to design, develop, and execute automated testing solutions across our software platforms. In this role, you will replace manual testing processes with robust test scripts, build scalable automation frameworks, and integrate testing directly into our CI/CD pipeline to ensure rapid, high-quality software delivery.

Core Responsibilities

Framework Development & Scripting

• Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks from scratch for web, mobile, and API applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable automated test scripts using programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Implement standard design patterns in test automation, such as the Page Object Model (POM).

Test Execution & Analysis

• Conduct automated Functional, Regression, Integration, and API testing across different environments.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) for continuous testing.
• Analyze automated test results, isolate bottlenecks, and log highly detailed bug reports in Jira.

Collaboration & Strategy

• Review product requirements, user stories, and design documents to define automation scope and strategy.
• Partner with Developers, DevOps Engineers, and Product Managers to shift testing "left" early in the development lifecycle.
• Maintain and optimize test data management strategies and test environments.
