Job Summary
Seeking an Emulation DFD/DFX Engineer to develop, integrate, and validate Design-for-Debug (DFD) and Design-for-Test/Excellence (DFX) features in complex SoC/ASIC designs using hardware emulation platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain emulation environments on Palladium, ZeBu, or Veloce.
- Validate DFD/DFX features including JTAG, scan, MBIST/LBIST, and debug infrastructure.
- Create and execute validation test plans, debug failures, and analyze coverage.
- Collaborate with RTL, DFT, verification, firmware, and post-silicon teams.
- Develop automation scripts and regression flows.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering.
- 3+ years of SoC/ASIC verification, DFT, DFD/DFX, or emulation experience.
- Strong knowledge of Verilog/SystemVerilog, UVM, and digital design fundamentals.
- Experience with JTAG, scan, MBIST/LBIST, and DFT methodologies.
- Proficiency in Python, Tcl, Perl, or Shell scripting.
Preferred
- Experience with ARM CoreSight, FPGA prototyping, and silicon bring-up.
- Familiarity with low-power verification (UPF/CPF).
