About the Role

We are looking for a practical and technical Smart Ring Procurement & Supply Chain Specialist to lead hardware sourcing, supplier setup, and manufacturing operations. This role manages everything from component selection to factory negotiations for our smart wearable line.

You will map suppliers in the Greater Bay Area (GBA), evaluate customization options, secure SDK/API access, and negotiate best-in-class unit pricing and low initial MOQs.

Key Responsibilities1. Smart Ring Manufacturing & Process Engineering Assessment

• Assess Technical Capabilities: Review assembly processes, flexible PCB constraints, curved battery integration (15–22mAh), and sensor placements
• Ensure Durability & Water Resistance: Verify sealing techniques for IPX8 / 10ATM compliance.

2. Supplier Sourcing & Ecosystem Mapping

• Supplier Database: Build and maintain a vetted list of OEM/ODM factories, chipmakers, and assemblers with lead times and pricing tiers.
• Customization & Branding: Work with design teams on shell materials (Titanium, Ceramic, Gold, Stainless Steel), surface finishes, and laser engraving.
• Contract Negotiations: Secure optimal unit prices (target ~RMB 40–100+), initial MOQs, tooling fees, SDK developer terms, and warranty agreements.

3. Customization & Tooling Feasibility

• Coordinate modular hardware options (e.g., NFC payment-only vs. full biometric health suite)

4. Commercial Negotiation & SDK/Firmware Licensing

• Negotiate unit costs (target range ~RMB 40–100+ depending on tier), tooling/NRE fees, payment terms, and warranty coverage.

5. Fulfillment & Quality Control

• Establish Quality Control (QC) standards for incoming batches, including pressure-chamber testing and optical sensor calibration.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Regional Network: Strong existing network of suppliers across the Greater Bay Area (GBA / Pearl River Delta).
• Technical Understanding: Hands-on knowledge of PCB assembly.

Service Deliverables

• GBA Supplier Ecosystem Report: A comprehensive directory of audited OEM/ODM suppliers with capabilities, lead times, SDK licensing options, and pricing breakdowns.
• Customization Guidelines & Feasibility Matrix: Technical documentation outlining material options, shell finishes, and sizing limits matched to factory capabilities.
• Master Sourcing Agreement & Contract Terms: Final negotiated contract covering unit costs, target MOQs, tooling fees, SDK rebates, and quality warranty standards for the initial order.

Pay: $11,804.00 - $45,686.77 per month
