Job Summary
Develop and manage engineering projects by designing detailed plans, assessing feasibility, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading teams to deliver quality outcomes on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed engineering designs that meet project specifications and standards to ensure quality deliverables.
- Conduct feasibility assessments and perform site inspections to evaluate project viability and inform decision-making.
- Prepare and implement comprehensive project plans to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
- Research project requirements and provide accurate cost and resource estimates to support budgeting and planning.
- Review and interpret government regulations and ordinances to ensure full compliance throughout project execution.
- Monitor and optimize safety procedures, production processes, and regulatory adherence to maintain project standards.
- Analyze problems and present alternative solutions to improve project outcomes and resolve challenges.
- Liaise confidently with clients and professional subcontractors to coordinate project activities and maintain clear communication.
- Manage project budgets, resources, deadlines, and compile acquisition quotes effectively to control costs and schedules.
- Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously to maintain workflow efficiency and meet organizational goals.
- Lead diverse professional teams to achieve project goals and maintain high quality standards.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Master’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
- Familiarity with design software such as Autodesk, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
- Minimum of three years’ industry experience in civil engineering projects.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with high accuracy in calculations and design.
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines.
- Leadership skills to manage diverse project teams effectively.
