Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Production for daily manufacturing and process-related issues.

• Lead root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

• Improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.

• Establish and validate manufacturing processes (IQ, PQ, OQ)

• Support plastic injection molding, tooling, CNC machining, and equipment troubleshooting.

• Act as the technical interface with customers’ R&D and engineering teams, supporting product development and NPI activities.

• Review and clarify product specifications, drawings, design requirements, and manufacturability concerns; provide technical feedback and recommendations; coordinate product trials and validation; troubleshoot technical issues; and follow up on engineering changes to ensure customer requirements are effectively implemented and products meet quality and performance expectations.

• Assist in the spray-painting process, including process setup, trial runs, and validation of suppliers’ processes.

• Participate in supplier audits from an engineering perspective, focusing on technical issues, process capability, equipment, and related engineering requirements.

• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Tooling teams to ensure smooth operations.

• Drive continuous improvement activities such as Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S.

• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, including SOPs, reports, and process records.

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.

• Provide coaching and technical support to junior engineers and technicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related Engineering field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience in plastic injection molding, tooling, CNC, or precision manufacturing preferred.

• Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on technical capability.

• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality systems.

• Familiar with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement tools is an advantage.

• Able to work independently and in a cross-functional team environment.
