HEPMIL Media Group owns and operates SGAG, MGAG, PGAG, MRCI, HEPMIL Creators' Network & Bent Pixels Asia. HEPMIL Media Group has offices across Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Manila, Bangkok & Ho Chi Minh and employs over 300 passionate individuals.
HEPMIL - SGAG and HEPMIL Creator’s Network (HCN), is home to one of the fastest growing content and creator businesses locally. We exist to Make Every Singaporean’s Day a Better One through the endless funny memes and videos on SGAG and by empowering the next generation of content creators through HCN.
HEPMIL Singapore is looking for a Finance Executive for a full-time position based in Singapore. The role will report to the Finance Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Month-End Close
Support month-end and year-end closing activities
Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and supporting schedules
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding items
Support statutory audit and tax reporting requirements
Shared Services Centre (SSC) Partnership
Serve as the point of contact between local finance stakeholders and SSC
Coordinate with SSC teams on Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Treasury matters
Monitor SSC service delivery and ensure transactions are processed in accordance with agreed timelines
Follow up on outstanding transactions, reconciliation issues, and month-end close deliverables
Escalate and resolve operational issues impacting financial reporting accuracy or timeliness
Support process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives between the business and SSC
Business Partnering
Work closely with Business and operations team to provide financial support
Respond to finance-related queries from stakeholders, with support from SSC
Process Improvement & Systems
Work closely with Tech team to identity opportunities and improve efficiency through automation
Participate in finance transformation initiatives and system integration projects
Requirements:
Diploma / Degree in Finance or Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent
At least 1 to 3 years of working experience in the related field
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Good knowledge in accounting systems (Xero and/or SAP would be advantageous)
Able to work in a fast pace environment
Proficient in both written and spoken English
Meticulous with strong analytic skills
Team player with the ability to collaborate across teams and shared service functions
