We're seeking a commercially minded Data Intelligence Analyst to turn complex data into meaningful insights that drive business performance. Leveraging your expertise in Power BI, SQL, and data modelling, you'll create impactful dashboards and reporting solutions that support decision-making across marketing, student growth, revenue, and business strategy.

Working as part of our APAC Strategy & Insights team, you'll collaborate with stakeholders across the business to uncover opportunities, influence decisions, and champion data-driven thinking.

Please note that this is a full-time, permanent role based in Malaysia. Applicants must have valid working rights in Malaysia.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable business insights.
• Analyse marketing, student acquisition, revenue and growth performance to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Build and optimise SQL queries to extract, transform and validate data from multiple sources.
• Develop data models, measures and visualisations using Power BI, DAX and Power Query.
• Translate business requirements into effective reporting solutions.
• Deliver insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and drive data-led outcomes.
• Champion best practice in data visualisation and self-service analytics.
• Support ongoing improvements to data quality, reporting capabilities and analytics frameworks.
  
  

About You

You are a curious and commercially focused analyst who enjoys solving business problems through data and communicating insights that influence action.

You'll Bring

• Relevant qualifications in Data Analytics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business or a related discipline.
• 3+ years' experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence or a similar role.
• Advanced Power BI skills, including DAX, data modelling and dashboard development.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with multiple data sources.
• Proven ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Experience developing reporting solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational capabilities.
• A proactive, self-driven approach and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience within the education sector and exposure to Microsoft Fabric or Azure data environments (Desirable)
