Job Summary

Perform construction carpentry tasks including reading drawings, operating carpentry machines, installing and repairing wooden structures, and ensuring work quality and safety compliance on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction drawings to guide carpentry tasks accurately
• Operate carpentry machines and equipment safely and efficiently to complete assigned tasks
• Carry out construction carpentry works such as formwork, fixing, and installation of wooden structures
• Install doors, frames, partitions, and other wooden components according to project specifications
• Repair and maintain existing carpentry structures at construction sites to ensure durability and safety
• Follow safety regulations and site supervisor instructions to maintain a safe work environment
• Ensure work quality meets project and site requirements through careful execution and inspection
• Collaborate effectively with team members and work independently to meet project deadlines

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a construction carpenter
• Experience working on construction sites
• Knowledge of carpentry tools, equipment, and materials

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
