Job Description

Job purpose

Perform daily accounting tasks to support Accounting / Finance team. Responsibilities include managing expense reports and reimbursements, entering transactions into our internal databases and reconciling invoices.

Ultimately, the goal is to help the Accounting / Finance function run smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions.

Duties and responsibilities

• Assist Assistant Finance Manager to prepare / maintain full set of company accounts (e.g. AP/AR, Bank Reconciliation, cashbook, cashflow, GST submission, Financial Report, Interco billing).
• Perform month-end accounts closing including data entry to accounting system.
• Process expenses, staff reimbursements, payments and claims.
• Supports some payroll activities if needed.
• Liaise with external audit, tax agent, company secretary etc.
• Administrative duties as necessary (monitor and maintain contracts, preparation of sales invoice etc).
• Performs any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Qualifications, Skills, Experience

• Education – Diploma in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent;
• Experience – Candidates with relevant qualifications, or some relevant experience.
• Language – English and Mandarin to liaise with accounts and finance departments in China and Taiwan
• Computing – Advanced MS Office, spreadsheets, ACCPAC
• Adapt to changes, analytical and a team player with positive working attitude
