IT Project Manager (ITPM) - Mandarin Speaking | Contract Hiring

• Location : Plaza Damansara, Bukit Damansara, KL
• Working : Monday–Friday, 8:45am–5:45pm
• Contract : 6-12 months (Duration is depending on the project funding of the quarter; renewable)

About the Role

IT Project Manager (ITPM) - Mandarin Speaking

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager (ITPM) to manage and deliver technology projects within a leading financial services environment.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in IT project delivery, stakeholder management, Agile/Waterfall methodologies, risk management and cross-functional team coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end IT projects from planning to implementation and closure.
• Develop project plans, timelines, milestones and resource requirements.
• Coordinate with Business, IT, Developers, QA, Infrastructure, Vendors and external stakeholders.
• Manage project scope, risks, issues, dependencies and changes.
• Monitor project progress and ensure delivery according to agreed timelines and requirements.
• Prepare project status reports and present updates to management and stakeholders.
• Coordinate UAT, testing, deployment and implementation activities.
• Manage vendors and third-party technology partners.
• Facilitate project meetings, governance sessions and stakeholder discussions.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality, security and governance requirements.
• Apply Agile, Scrum, Waterfall or hybrid project management methodologies where appropriate.
• Identify potential project issues and drive timely resolution.
• Support continuous improvement of project delivery processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Project Management, Technology Delivery or related roles.
• Strong experience managing software/application or technology projects.
• Good understanding of SDLC, software development, testing and implementation.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall project environments.
• Experience in risk, issue, dependency and vendor management.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project or similar.
• Experience in banking or financial services is an advantage.
• PMP, PRINCE2, PSM, CSM or SAFe certification is an added advantage.
