Your Responsibilities

As a hands-on engineer you will execute the field deployment, commissioning, site acceptance test & trouble shooting process of our monitoring solutions based on our sensing instruments and other off-the-shelf standard industrial components. In addition you will prepare project related documentation, analyze field data, generate reports, conduct trainings and support our customers in Singapore and Asia Pacific. Part of the responsibility is to keep communication with customers during the project execution phase.

You can play a key role in a motivated team in a position with a broad and interesting scope.

NOTE: Do not require sponsorship to work in Singapore.

Your Profile

You have an B.S. degree in electrical-, mechanical-, or optical-engineering, computer science, automation technology, or a similar track record.> 3 years of (international) experience.

A good knowledge about fiber optics (FO cables, fiber types, splicing, fiber testing OTDR, laser) is appreciated. You are engaged, creative, and self-reliant, with a solution-oriented approach. Ideally you have collected your first job experiences that reflect this.

You are a good communicator – a cooperative and dependable team player – with written and spoken skills in English and Mandarin. You are flexible with regards to travel in the region in order to provide the best possible support for our customers.

Solid MS Office experience is a must - experience in optical test and measurement, CAD tools are advantageous. You have also a solid EDP background. (e.g. Windows Server, MS SQL, Modbus, IEC61850).

Pay: $3,000.00 - $5,000.00 per month
