Overview
The Group Cyber Security Specialist is working with all Cyber Security and IT Security activities related to compliance with AGOS information security policies. Working across the group, with all systems and departments, to improve and maintain acceptable levels of risk and minimize vulnerability. Reporting to the Group IT and Business Systems Director. Manage a security baseline defence strategy to ensure that information assets are adequately protected. Responsible for designing, maintaining and managing all cyber security measures and tools both on-prem and in the cloud. Responsible for training of key personnel in cyber security measures. Should partake in auditing partners and suppliers' information security systems. Support the Groups compliance and governance programs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage and conduct cyber security risk assessments across the Group.
2. Implement and maintain cyber security controls, solutions, and security measures.
3. Monitor and manage IT infrastructure, network, and security assets.
4. Manage endpoint protection and security solutions.
5. Monitor and manage SIEM/SOAR and other security monitoring tools.
6. Conduct security incident investigations, including forensic analysis, where required.
7. Provide advice and recommendations on cyber security strategy and improvements.
8. Manage user identity, access rights, and software licences.
9. Manage and oversee networks, firewalls, ISP connections, servers, and switches.
10. Manage backup, recovery, and data retention requirements.
11. Manage and coordinate third-party and supplier security relationships.
12. Identify and support cyber security training and development requirements.
13. Provide second-line IT and user support where required.

Qualifications & Experience
1. Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or an equivalent qualification.
2. Experience working in a global organisation, multinational corporation (MNC), or Global Business Services (GBS)/Shared Services environment.
3. Experience in the Oil & Gas, Energy, Maritime, or related industrial sector would be highly advantageous.
4. Experience supporting global/regional cyber security operations across multiple locations, business units, or countries.
5. Knowledge of Class Society requirements relating to digital and cyber security.
6. Good knowledge of recognised cyber security frameworks, including ISO 27001, IEC 62443, and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
7. Experience in conducting cyber security risk assessments.
8. Practical experience in cyber security operations and security management.
9. Strong knowledge of networking, firewalls, and related IT infrastructure.
10. Strong technical competence in Microsoft technologies and Microsoft Azure.
11. Strong overall understanding of cyber security principles, practices, and controls.
