Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled Machining Technician/Machinist to join our team at Eastfound Malaysia Sdn Bhd. The ideal candidate should be proficient in reading mechanical blueprints and have hands-on experience operating various machining and processing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Mechanical Parts Processing & Manufacturing: Responsible for the machining and fabrication of mechanical parts based on provided blueprints.

Machinery Operation: Operate and maintain various machining equipment, including but not limited to:

• Lathe Machine (车床)
• Surface Grinder Machine (磨床)
• Milling Machine (铣床)
• Electrical Discharge Machining (线切割)
• Planing Machine (刨床)
• Drilling Machine (钻床)
• Welding Machine (电焊)
• Flame Cutting Tools (火焰切割)

Fixture Fabrication and Maintenance: Design, fabricate, and repair jigs and fixtures as required.

Temporary and Ad-Hoc Tasks: Perform other machining-related tasks as assigned by the management.

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

• Can read and interpret mechanical drawings, tolerances, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to produce parts according to specifications.
• Able to operate conventional machining equipment including lathe, milling, surface grinder, planing, and drilling machines.
• Can do manual machine setup, workpiece alignment, cutting tool selection, and machining parameter adjustment.
• Can operate Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) – wire cut for precision cutting of hard or complex components.
• Can carry out welding and flame cutting for fabrication, repair, and modification of metal parts.
• Able to design, fabricate, set up, and repair jigs and fixtures to ensure stable, accurate, and repeatable machining processes.
• Able to conduct dimensional inspection using vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and dial indicators.
• Able to identify machining defects, troubleshoot process issues, and perform corrective actions to meet quality requirements.
• Can do basic machine maintenance, adjustment, and troubleshooting to ensure safe and reliable operation.

Experience:

• Prior hands-on experience in machining and manufacturing is required.
