The Role:
Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and cost plans for projects.

Administer contracts in accordance with the applicable Conditions of Contract (e.g. PSSCOC)

Evaluate and certify contractors' progress payment claims.

Assess and recommend Variation Orders (VOs), claims, and contractual entitlements.

Monitor project expenditure against approved budgets and report on cost status.

Prepare cost reports and cash flow forecasts management and clients.

Measure completed works and verify quantities on site where required.

Prepare, negotiate, and finalise Final Accounts with contractors and consultants.

Review contractors' quotations and verify the reasonableness of rates and prices.

Attend site meetings, technical meetings, and progress meetings with consultants, contractors, clients, and stakeholders.

Maintain proper records of contractual correspondence, cost documentation, and project files.

Identify contractual risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.

Provide contractual advice to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Ensure compliance with company procedures, procurement policies, and statutory requirements.

What Do You Need to Have?

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Building or Quantity Surveying or Project & Facilities Managements or other relevant qualifications.

He/she must possess at least 3 years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience in construction industry, A&A, R&R or estate upgrading projects.

Experience in public sector or town council projects will be an advantage.
