Job Description & Requirements
Position: Baker- Commis I or Commis II
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for daily preparation and baking of breads and viennoiseries.
Ensure all baked goods are of consistent quality and standards by adhering to recipes and SOPs.
Ensure food hygiene and safety standards are maintained
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the work area.
Monitor and track the inventory level of finished goods, baking ingredients and supplies.
Perform mise-en-place and minimise food waste.
Any other ad hoc duties assigned
Job Requirements:
Minimum 1-2 years of experience working in a bakery.
Possess passion for baking, a positive attitude and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
A team player and willing to learn and adapt.

Formerly known as Joe & Dough Bakery, Bakeri has come a long way since its inception in 2010. With a jar of starter and just 2,200 square feet space, the bakery began as a supporting arm to Joe & Dough cafes, producing artisanal breads and pastries to ensure a consistent supply of quality bakes to all the outlets. With the growing demand, the bakery moved to a 11,000 square feet baking facility. The space may have changed, but the ethos and the tradition of handcrafting each and every loaf remains the same. Over the years, the business function expanded to produce breads, cakes and pastries for wholesale and today, Bakeri is the preferred purveyor of quality bakes for the HoReCa sector and leading supermarkets.
