1. Infrastructure & Network Administration

Oversee and maintain plant-wide LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi coverage across office and factory production areas, VLAN configurations, routers, firewalls, and network switches.

Manage operational technology hardware, including network printers, barcode scanners, access control (door biometrics/RFID), and IP CCTV surveillance systems.

Monitor ISP uptime, manage broadband lines, and resolve connectivity interruptions promptly to minimize production downtime.

2. End-User Support & Helpdesk

Provide daily technical support for hardware, OS (Windows 10/11, macOS), and productivity suites (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).

Handle user onboarding and offboarding: PC/laptop setup, OS imaging, email provisioning, ERP access rights, and hardware retrieval.

Diagnose and resolve hardware defects, liaising with warranty vendors or third-party repair services.

3. Enterprise Systems & Manufacturing Support

Support day-to-day operations of local internal systems, ERP, warehouse/inventory systems, and production tracking terminals.

Coordinate with external software vendors or global headquarters IT teams for system updates, troubleshooting, and patch deployments.

4. Data Security, Backup & Compliance

Perform scheduled daily/weekly data backups (local NAS and cloud repositories) and test disaster recovery procedures.

Enforce endpoint antivirus/EDR security policies, firewall rules, and password compliance.

Maintain strict adherence to Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and internal IT security guidelines.

5. IT Asset Management & Procurement

Maintain an up-to-date IT asset inventory (laptops, monitors, licenses, peripheral stock).

Source quotes and evaluate hardware/software purchases with local IT vendors for cost efficiency.

Qualification

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related discipline.Minimum 2 to 4 years of relevant hands-on IT support / systems administration experience (experience in a manufacturing plant environment is a strong plus).

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
