We are seeking an ambitious and creatively driven Designer to join our in-house creative team, helping to bring exceptional design to life across our brand and supporting our vision for a healthier, more sustainable food future.

This role will help shape our brand identity across all touchpoints, including: 

• The design and artwork of packaging and product branding

• Exhibition design, display units, and other POS materials

• Scroll-stopping social media posts, stories and marketing

• The wider campaign execution behind them

Key Responsibilities:

• Social & Digital — Design engaging posts, stories, reels covers, and digital ad creative for Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms. Adapt content across formats and sizes

• Packaging — Support the design and evolution of product packaging, from concepting new SKUs to producing print-ready artwork

• POS & Retail — Create shelf talkers, display units, in-store signage, and other point-of-sale materials that help Akuri stand out at retail. Plus trade show and exhibition design, including stand graphics, banners, and event collateral

• Marketing Materials — Design email templates, one-pagers, sell sheets, trade show assets, and presentation decks

• Brand Consistency — Apply and help evolve Akuri's brand across all outputs, ensuring a cohesive look and feel everywhere the brand shows up

• Collaboration — Work closely with Marketing, Sales, and (where relevant) external agencies or printers to bring projects from brief to final delivery

• Production — Prepare final files for print and digital handoff, including working with printers on packaging

Key Skills:

• 1–4 years of design experience (in-house, agency, or freelance). Junior-to-mid level; we're flexible based on portfolio strength

• A strong portfolio showing range across digital and print (social content and packaging a big plus)

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)

• A sharp eye for typography, colour, and layout, with an instinct for what makes food/lifestyle brands feel appetising

• Understanding of print production basics (cutter guides, bleed, CMYK, file prep for partners)

• Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, start-up environment

• Strong communication skills and openness to feedback. You'll be working closely with a small, collaborative team
