General Duties & Responsibilities:


Deliver excellent service and oversees daily operations in the dining area.
Coordinate with kitchen, bar and service team to ensure smooth operations.


Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, escalating issues to the supervisor or manager when necessary.
Monitor the dining room flow, coordinate table turns, and ensure all stations are fully set up before service.
Delegate tasks to servers and runners, conduct pre-shift briefings, and train junior and/or new staff.
Ensure team members follow restaurant SOPs, hygiene, and safety standards.
Support the Supervisor/Manager in maintaining efficient daily operations.
Help with stock checks, inventory control, and minimizing wastage.
Assist with opening and closing duties, including cash handling and outlet preparation where required.
Promote menu items, promotions, and upselling opportunities, when appropriate, to improve sales.
Perform general food and beverage operational tasks as required (e.g Taking orders, serving, and preparation of food and beverages).


Ensure the bar area is clean, well-stocked, and efficiently organised.
Stay attentive to customer needs and respond promptly to requests.
Maintain a positive attitude and cooperate effectively with team members.
Suggest improvements to enhance service quality and work processes.
Any other duties may be assigned from time to time.
